The Esys Gen 2 TPMS solves the automotive tire and wheel manufacturing problems caused by multiple TPMS sensors and suppliers.
In 2012 Esys Automation set out to develop a solution that solved the issue manufacturers have when dealing with: multiple TPMS sensors and suppliers. The Esys Generation 2 TPMS equipment has been specifically created to handle this challenge.
A successful trial of the Gen 2 TPMS was completed in September 2012 at a tire and wheel supplier for a major Japanese OEM. The success of the trial, lead to the first purchase order for the new Gen 2 TPMS.
To date Esys has successfully read TPM stems from TRW, Continental, Schrader, Baolong, and Pacific. We are currently completing testing on several other stem manufacturers as well.
“We are very happy with the market’s response. So far this year we have already received orders for 8 systems,” says Scott Claxton, VP of Esys Automation.
